Collegial and informal, Gatherings provide interested and current members the opportunity
to perform in a supportive environment.
Gatherings serve a dual purpose. Members with piano works-in-progress
play in Gatherings to gain experience with public performance.
Those with concert-ready material play at Gatherings with the stated interest of participating in
an upcoming New York Piano Society concert.
The society's Director uses discretion and judgment to select concert programs.
Selections should be 10 to 15 minutes in total length for each performer.
